About the event

Learn how to make a hand felted bowl using unspun wool fibres and the wet felting method.


Linda  will guide you through the felting process, the handling of the wool fibres, and use of a resist to create your own unique 3D bowl. The workshop to be suitable both for complete beginners and those with some felting experience who were interested in trying out a 3D make.


When dry your finished piece can be embroidered or needle felted onto.


All Materials and equipment will be provided, however please bring waterproof gloves if you have skin sensitive to soap.


Linda has 40 years experience working with wool and other fibres as a designer, maker. and educator.


Skill Level: Complete Beginner

We'll provide: Wool tops, yarn to embellish, all tools


Healthy & Safety: during the workshop everyone will have their own materials and tools. Sanitiser and disinfectant will be available. If you feel unwell, please let us know and stay home. The space has level access. However, the toilet is upstairs.


Course Conditions: the workshop needs minimum numbers to run. In the unlikely event it doesn't meet this, the workshop will be cancelled and you will receieve a refund. Please don’t arrive more than 10 minutes before the workshop starts, unless previously discussed.


Refund Policy: your booking is secured by payment. If you choose to cancel, we will offer a refund up to 7 days before the event with a £5 admin fee per ticket. However, after that no refund can be given.
