About the event
This month, we are celebrating the 'Power of Repair' as part of our programme of events for Sustainable Fashion Week 2024. Our in-house mending repair specialist - Kim - will be om hand to help with tips and advice for repairing textiles.
Bring along anything from your mending pile to fix whilst we chat!
Venue: our Textiles Hub, in Huddersfield Piazza.
Refreshments: hot and cold drinks available on a self-serve basis. We'll also have biscuits!
Cost: As a social enterprise, we ask for a minimum donation of £2 to help us cover our running costs (payable on the night).
Healthy & Safety: during the social everyone will have their own materials and tools. Sanitiser and disinfectant will be available. If you feel unwell, please let us know and stay home. The space has level access. However, the toilet is upstairs.
Course Conditions: please don’t arrive more than 10 minutes before the session starts, unless previously discussed.
