Printed & Painted Textiles

In this workshop, you will have the opportunity to have a go at painting and printing on textiles to create decorative, blue patterns using indigo and woad printing pastes. This workshop uses reclaimed textiles and offers you the opportunity to bring your old clothes to re-vamp and update using indigo/woad printing pastes. This a great way to learn about both woad and indigo in a relaxed and creative way.

These workshops are funded by WOVEN in Kirklees. While spaces are free, please do let us know if you can no longer make it as there may be a waiting list.

Healthy & Safety: during the workshop everyone will have their own materials and tools. Sanitiser and disinfectant will be available. If you feel unwell, please let us know and stay home. The space has level access. However, the toilet is upstairs.

Course Conditions: the workshop needs minimum numbers to run. In the unlikely event it doesn't meet this, the workshop will be cancelled and you will receieve a refund. Please don’t arrive more than 10 minutes before the workshop starts, unless previously discussed.
