Put a pocket in it

Women's clothing rarely has decent pockets, if any at all! If you have a garment in your wardrobe which frustrates you with it's lack of pockets, join us for this fab upcycling workshop with Holly. We're going to be reverse engineering those existing garments to include pockets, making them more enjoyable to wear for you for years to come. 

Skill Level: Advanced Beginner - some previous sewing knowledge required (you will have either made or altered clothing before)

You’ll need: you will need to bring a garment you own that you'd like to put pockets in

Materials included: we have sewing machines available for use, irons and boards, scissors,  pins, measuring tapes, chalk etc. Hot drinks and biscuits will also be  provided. 

Led by: our in-house seamstress - Holly Carr (pkt Studios)

Healthy & Safety: during the workshop everyone  will have their own materials and tools. Sanitiser and disinfectant will  be available. If you feel unwell, please let us know and stay home. The  space has level access. However, the toilet is upstairs.

Course Conditions: the workshop needs minimum  numbers to run. In the unlikely event it doesn't meet this, the workshop  will be cancelled and you will receieve a refund. Please don’t arrive  more than 10 minutes before the workshop starts, unless previously  discussed.

Refund Policy: your booking is secured by payment.  If you choose to cancel, will will offer a refund up to 7 days before  the event. However, after that no refund can be given.
